Week update thingy

What's new. Well, things at the flat are still a little hmmm. But we all seem so busy at the moment, everyone just seems to be getting on with stuff. I, as usual, have 4 more exams approaching (3 in the same week!). And low and behold, I've also managed to catch a nice bit of flu/cold/cough combi. Eurgh. So I've taken the day off today, have contacted 3 secretaries to cancel meetings, called a design groupie to say I can't make it for the testing, and called mum to bring me some of her yum soup & orange juice. Seems annoying to always have to 'let people know' if I want a day off, nevermind my degree. Ah well, next day I can take off without seeking permission is the 1st Mar, and I have an exam the next day. All in all, it sucks. Anyway, that's enough of a whinge to start the day with.

Things have pretty much calmed down with a certain someone. I guess you could say I 'woke up' and realised he's not all that special. Just shocked at how long it took me to realise. Not been the sharpest with reading people lately.

My diaphragm's bruised :( Ouch. Coughing's a painful thing, ain't it. Think I've seen most of my dinners twice today... alright, I suppose you didn't need to know that.

Lets go back to last week... Tuesday (Valentine's Day) - went out with Caleb, Hani & Zoe. We went for a chinese meal followed by the movies. Was really nice actually. The movie was interesting - Lady Vengence - very good korean film. Bit odd at first, but very well directed (I thought).

Wed - sports night. Without him! To be fair, was a little odd at first. It's been a while. But was with Caleb & Zoe most of the night, and Nigel, Jans & Norbert stayed for a while. We had a brilliant boogie in the union at the end - they played all the cheesey classics which is exactly what the dr ordered.

Thurs - Watched professional squash with Charlie, Raf, Boon, & Edd. Really entertaining actually. It was the semi-finals of the Classics Championship. We saw Peter Nicols (4) vs Thierry Lincou (2), and Anthony Ricketts (1) vs Karim Darwish (7). Amazing squash. It's a totally different game. Looks so easy & almost elegant, you could say. Saw a few trickshots. Very sneaky. Anyway, Anthony & Thierry made it through to the finals. Went for dinner with the boys (& some lads from Queen Mary's who were also at the game) at Wagamamas. The YakiSoba never fails to delight. Met James. Nice guy. Hmmmmm. Then sneaked into Purple at midnight, to dance the night away! Saw Mel & Joey... 'twas Hannah's birthday (from Bio).

Fri - Went to Kings with Zoe & Caleb. Really good night. Clean fun. No couple arguments, no emotional drunkards, no sleazes (well, Caleb protected us!). Saw Laura, Alex, Roger, 'The Americans', Ed, Will, and a few other randoms there.

Sat - went to Camden. Enquired about nose piercing (getting it done next week). Bought a puzzle - but not just any puzzle, it's amazin! Kept me entertained for ages. I'm hooked! I'm hooked!

And that about it for excitement. And now I'm blawdy ill. Grrrrrr.
:'(

Mwah (my mummy always taught me to share... does this include colds?)

PS Happy Birthday.
